What is the Scope for Biomedical Engineering in India and abroad?

• I got a high rank in the entrance exam conducted by SRM University,Chennai...I am interested in Bio-Medical engineering..i want to know about the Scope,Salary,Job openings...please help me.. Also what to do after completing it??Is SRM good?
