How to write a Dear Editor letter?

Letter to the editor!hi everyone I'm italian & I have to write a letter of 250words to the editor of a journal?

"Dear Editor, I came to know about a decision of the government that really made me astounded.It concerns the will to demolish the "Mary's house", right in the centre of the town,in order to build in that same place a structure. This sounds really strange and awful to me, considering that "m: house" was one of the most important attraction of the city until the early 90's and in my opinion it still represents an iportant part of our city's history.Its demolition can't be caused by theirresponsibility of the political class,that during the time,slowly abandoned the manutention of this XIX century's house... please try to continue it, so that I can write at least 230words!!! thanx

Its demolition can't (**If this is a formal letter do not use contractions...write out cannot) be caused by the irresponsibility of the political class that over time abandoned the manutention (**I think you mean 'maintenance' ?) of this 19th century house... I have no clue how to continue it since I'm not sure what it's about, but I fixed what you had. By political class do you mean the government? That was a little confusing. I don't know, hope I helped some.
