Answer:
You could try to watch English Language Movies or Television Shows with your native language in the Subtitles. I have learned to speak some basic Japanese because I watch Japanese TV Shows with English Language Subtitles. I have discovered that I can understand a LOT of Spanish when I watched a movie called .REC with English Language Subtitles. I knew enough of the language to realize that the Subtitles were not well translated from Spanish in to English. You will be VERY suprised when you realize how much of the language you are picking up by listening to the English Audio while Reading the words in your native language.

Watch a lot of movies. Choose some with subtitles in your own language, so that when you hear the phrases in EN, you also immediately read the subtitles and see how a certain expression sounds into EN.

Immerse yourself in the language. Maybe move and work in an english speaking country. Make english friends, watch movies with english subtitles. Practice speaking whenever you have the chance and it won't be long before you pick it up.
