Malay language: Why should one learn it + where to learn it?

    One should learn it if one is going to live in malaysia because it is not a common language like spanish. I speak it and never use it now coz I live in the US. I am pretty sure you can find some books but it will be hard. What do you need to learn. May be I can help. I am a malaysian who migrated to the US 5 years ago. Here are the basics? Apa Khabar? means How are you? Khabar Baik? means I'm fine or all's well Nama kamu siapa? means Whats your name? Nama saya XXX means my name is XXX Good luck!
