Is there an easy way to learn Spanish?

I'm trying to learn Spanish. What is a quick and easy way to learn basic Spanish? Enough to communicate with?

  • I'm looking for a simple way to learn the Spanish language. I don't need to know about verbs, and adverbs and all that stuff. I just need to learn how to understand and communicate with other people in the Spanish language. Does anyone have suggestions on ways to learn the language that worked well for you? Thank you for your help.

Get a spanish dictionary. Go on barnes & noble.com and look one up. And go to the library and see if they have it.

When I met my husband five years ago I did not know a lick of spanish. I learned it well enouhgh to have a conversation in about 8 months. The way to do it is to immerse yourself in the language. Yeah it helped that I was dating someone that spoke it, but if you are around it everyday and literally if you learn just a new phrase a day you will pick it up in no time. And I know it sucks learning verbs and all that junk but honestly it will make it easier in the long run. Good luck and if you need any help you can ask me anything in Spanish!

Well, if you don't want to learn grammar, definitely the best way for you is watching as much TV programe in Spanish with subtitles in your own language as you can. It helped me very much. I must admit that, when I was a kid, I was watching those Mexican soap-operas (I hate them now!) and that's how I learned the basics. Later I started to watch Spanish TV series and that helped me even more! I hope it'll help you too. Good luck! (Suerte!) :-)
