How to learn Tamil and Hindi ?

.i am interested in learning Tamil and Hindi. I can read and write the scripts of Tamil and Hindi but can't speak and understand... I have books and dictionaries in those languages but it's not helpful... Please suggest me any easy way to learn these languages.. Thank you :)

By watching movies, you could understand tamil and hindi.. Talking fluently can be done only by talking with some tamil and hindi speaking persons...

Language is more effectively learned in language atmosphere, So better you go to live in that language community for 2/3 years at least you will learn to understand & speak. This is the area which you cannot learn from books. For reading and writing you can go to various sites by searching them on google search.

see lots of tamil and hindi news channels , its ok if you doesn't understand just catch the words and later look meaning in dictionaries . its very good to do rather reading books .

See more and more Tamil and Hindi films. I learnt Tamil , just because it has many common features with my language 'malayalam'.
