Of all the wonders that I yet have hard, It seems to me most strange that men should fear; Will come when it will come. (2.2.34) 4. But I am constant as the Nothern Star, Of whose true fixed and resting quality. 5.Et tu, Brute? Then fall, Caesar! (3.1.77) 6.He that cuts off twenty years of life Cuts off so many years of fearing death (3.1.101) 7.O! Pardo me, thou bleeding piece of earth, That I am meek and gentle with these butchers; Thou art the ruins of the noblest man That ever lived in the tide of time. (3.1.254) 8.He was my friend, faithful and just to me. But Brutus says he was ambitious and Brutus is an honourable man. I have an Exam on this tomorrow and I need to know the significance, if you could really help that would be greatly appreciated :)

  • Answer:

    1. whoever is talking is saying that they, as well as the person they are talking to, is just as capable as Caesar to do anything; he has no advantage over them. 6. i think this means that if you fear death, you're stopping yourself from really living, thus "cutting years off your life". hope this helps a bit.
