How don't be nervous in interviews?

Interviews i just dont understand?

• people say you have to be good at interview to get a job. why is this. as im not very good at them i get so nervous and that then when they ask me something im like oh no but after about 5Min's im not to bad. but i don't see why they ask for reference's as you could get the best references in this world and have everything that the job is looking for and due to your not good at interviews you don't get the job. then u could hae someone with not to good reference's that not done much work who could do better but due to then being great at interviews they get the job. when the chance is they don't want a job and will leave in a few months. i really don't understand why and i think if jobs are being like this no wonder they are always looking for people to work

  At an interview you need to know about the firm as well as the abilities you have. I often wonder if you have more qualifications than the interview if they do not choose you because they feel threatened. I suppose the secret of it all is being able to read the personalities of those interviewing you keeping you one step ahead. In the end it is if your face fits, who the others being interviewed are and what they offer and the fact they interview so many they forget who does what. So my opinion it all comes down to luck of the draw.
