The theme of conflict in romeo and juliet?
-
right, in english this is the exact question we got asked. ' my only love sprung from my only hate. To early seen unknown, and know too late' Why do Juliet's words remind us of the theme of conflict within the play? (focus only on the prologue and act 1) consider: - the language of the prologue - the fighting and the princes words - the love between Romeo and Juliet' that was the exact question, and i have to write an essay on it. Im nearly there, but i have no idea on how to do the ' consider the love between romeo and juliet' please help me, i have no idea, i have to use a quote from some where in act 1, it has to be act 1. I have to use a PEE chain. Point, Evidence, Explain. so basicly i have to put my point accross, use the quote and then expain why i think that :) please please help. thank you to any one that does help. Oh and by the way, im in year 9, 14 years old. :)

Answer:
you really have to look into the meaning of the quote. She's saying that her only love sprung from her only hate which basically is saying she's in love with Romeo but he's her enemy and she's really conflicted over this. He comes from the Montague house who is feuding with the Capulet house in which Juliet resides so they can't openly be together but she wants to be with him and he wants to be with her so they have to find ways to sneak around. The other part of the quote is saying that she didn't know he was her enemy when she first met him (remember he crashed a Capulet party so she thought he was a Capulet or a friend of the Capulet's) and now she's in love with him and now she knows that hes her enemy but there's nothing she can do. so basically you could answer the question by talking about how the feud between the two houses is a conflict by itself and how it's a conflict between Romeo and Juliet. Also you could talk about Romeo an Juliet's forbidden love because that's an internal conflict for both Romeo, Juliet and a conflict for their houses. Hope this helps a little. If you have anymore questions on this I would love to help. When it comes to the quotes i don't remember any direct quotes off the top of my head so sorry about that but you basically just need to pick a quote that you understand the meaning well enough to explain how and why it shows conflict. Also hope your enjoying Romeo and Juliet, personally it was my absolute favorite part of English freshmen year.
