How to update my custom firmware for PSP?

Hi,,, I have a 2006 model slim psp... i changed it to custom firmware so that it would be easy to play cso and iso games...It worked great.. But nowadays some new games like Gta chinatown wars, assasins creed Bloodlines, resistance retribution and a lot of new released iso and cso games are not working but my psp is good with all the old games like syphonfilter logans shadow and chains of olympus..Is there a patch or update that i ve to install for my custom firmware or should i install a new firmware??.. Please help me so that i can play the new games...

Whats your Custom Firmware? If 5.03Mhu then you can upgrade to Gen. Currently latest 5.03 CFW is Gen-C. http://dl.qj.net/psp/homebrew-applications/cfw-503gen-c-for-hen.html
