I am looking to start a Roller Derby League (both Junior and Senior) in my home town. Where do I start? I am hoping to be able to start a Roller Derby League in my hometown (Midland, Ontario) and am trying to find some information that will point me in the right direction to get started. I was hoping to be able to start a Junior League as well as my daughter and her friends are very interested in playing as well but they are too young. Can anyone tell me where I should start?

I would talk to the Roller Derby in Barrie (South Simcoe Rebel Rollers), and Allliston (Renegade Derby Dames), and Toronto (Toronto Junior Roller Derby, GTA Rollergirls, and of course the Toronto Roller Derby itself).

I would suggest trying to hook up with a current league first and ask questions there. Maybe they can help you get a jr league started. Try this contact list. http://derbyroster.com/ Or if you really want to start on your own, then I would suggest you find a possible location and talk to them. You can't have a league without a location that's willing to hold the events.
