Best way to import Pokemon Black?

For Gen 2(Gold,Silver,Crystal) games, what's the best way to train a Pokemon in order for it to have max stats?

  • Right now on Pokemon Crystal the way I'm training is listed here (example Pokemon: LV5 Steelix with Lucky Egg item and boosting from trade): 1. Giving it 10 of each vitamin (Protein, Iron, Carbos, Calcium, and Hp Up) when its at LV5 still 2. Level Grinding it to LV25 by facing wild pokemon. 3. Level Grinding it to LV80 by facing S.S. Aqua trainers and trainers that call you for battles. 4. Level Grinding it to LV100 by facing the Elite 4, Red, and by facing a very strong opponent in the battle house in Viridian City. 5. Maxing out it's stats by facing the Elite 4, Red, and the Viridian City trainer and then using the box trick by then moving my pokemon into the PC and taking it back out for it to just gain 1 stat in each category if I'm lucky. What's I'm asking is could there be another quicker way to max a pokemon's stats out on Generation 2 games without using a cheating device. Also when I use the vitamins on Steelix why does he only gain 1 stat boost for every 2 vitamins (for example I use 2 Hp Ups on his 48 Hp, yet he only goes to 49-why not 50?) Please people give me a honest answer and answer with the best of your ability (remember this for Generation II games like Pokemon Gold, NOT Pokemon HeartGold, Pokemon Sapphire,SoulSilver, etc.)

Edit: I can't really tell how stats grow. Azure Heights said that stats grow at the same rate as levels, and the rate is dependent on the Pokemon. The closest they got to answering your question was this: "When any statistic has accumulated sufficient experience, that statistic will increase by one or more points." If the other sites don't help, Veekun will tell you the rate at which a Pokemon grows. For example, Pikachu has a medium growth. I don't have a specific plan for you, but depending on what stats you want, check the base stats of each Pokemon you battle. Since Generation 2 handled EVs similarly to Generation 1, what http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Effort_values says is relevant: "The Pokémon data structure contains two EV bytes for each the five stats (HP, Attack, Defense, Speed and Special), starting at zero when caught and with a maximum EV of 65535 for each stat. When a Pokémon is defeated, its base stats are converted to effort points and then added to the EVs. For example, defeating a Mew grants 100 effort points to each EV. (Defeating 656 Mew, therefore, will give a Pokémon maximum EVs in each stat.) EVs are factored into the Pokémon's stats when it levels up. Additionally, EVs are calculated into stats when a Pokémon is taken from Bill's PC; this is called the box trick. A Pokémon which reaches level 100 can continue to accrue EVs up to the maximum of 65535 in each stat, and use the box trick to have those EVs factored in. Vitamins add 2560 to one stat's EV, but cannot raise a stat above 25600. Unlike the Exp. Share in later games, the Exp. All did not share EVs." You can use Smogon's PokeDex to check the base stats of all Pokemon in Generation 2: http://www.smogon.com/gs/pokemon/
