What games can you play alone, using a pencil and paper?

Try this one, write down a long word. then using the letters, try to make as many words you can. As you find words, write them down. For example: if you pick the word "basket" you would make a list of words, base, bats, bake. Its really fun if you like word games. If so have fun.

Do you like crossword puzzles? You can find collections of them at bookstores or download them online from New York Times and print them out. They may seem difficult at first, just look for more modern puzzles (old ones have more obscure trivia) or look for a collection of puzzles rated by difficulty to start easy. You might also like Games magazine or other puzzle collections that have a variety of puzzles to enjoy.
