How long do co2 cartridges last in paintball guns?

HELP! My Spyder TL-R Paintball guns cocking knob wont stay back when i shoot it with the Co2 on. WHAT DO I DO?

  • I have a stock Spyder TL-R paintball gun (nothing new bought for it) and it wont stay ****** back when i fire with the CO2 on. I fire and i get one shot and have to cock it back after every shot. I have taken it apart and may be missing a piece. But i need help! Any suggestions or crucial pieces i might be missing and need that would cause this problem will help.

To be honest the spyder paintball guns seems to be having A LOT of these kind of problems. If i could see the gun, then i'd be able to fix it... but from my experience it is either one of two things, you'd probably have to re-lube your bolts and o-rings. While you lube that up take a look at all your o-rings there is a likely chance that you might have some bad o-rings or you might have an o-ring missing when there should be one. Other reason can be that your Velocity might be too low or put too high that it isn't working properly. If you have done this and it doesn't work then i'd recommend taking it to a paintball shop and having them look at it. Expect to pay some repair fees, usually they even charge you for them to just look at it. so try what i told you out, and if that doesn't work then i guess... well i'd recommend getting a new gun but it's cheaper then fixing your gun. ^^
