How will I get my Wii points?

So how do you get Wii points to play on the internet?

  • No wonder why Wii is cheaper than PS3! You have to buy wii points to get onto the internet. :-( Where as PS3 you don't have to pay to play with others around the world. Is there any other way to get points then to buy with your credit card? We do not feel it is a safe option giving out sensitive information over the TV internet. Thanks all!!

    You can buy them in many department stores. Usually in 2000 point cards. The system of internet that the wii uses though is Opera (costs 500 points to buy), which is the safest web browser currently out there so it should be safe.
