How do I use action replay ds for Pokemon diamond?

Why cant i use action replay ds with m y pokemon diamond?

i got action replay for DS and i quick updated it and the codes for pokemon diamond dont work - i load the cheats then take out the AR , load in POKEMON DIAMOND ( i live in canada so i have the N.A.( north america) version i guess) and after i press "START" it goes to the AR home and i keep pressing "START" but nothing happens

Maybe you should get the canadian version. It might work better. That happened to me and my cousin once when we went to a different country. Either that or just try plugging it in differently.
