Duck duck what?

ok...i grew up in Minnesota, and i just heard someone say that they have never heard of the game duck, duck, grey duck, a game wich i grew up playing&& they said it was a minnesota thing, that everyone else in the world plays duck,duck,goose, wich i never had...has anyone played duck duck grey duck it that doesnt live in MN ? kind of a random question, but it bothers me lol. thanks in advance

That's too funny. I'm from Minnesota as well and this just came up last week where I work. I knew it as duck, duck, grey duck too. However, I also lived in Florida and there it was duck, duck, goose. I also have some friends from California and they also say duck, duck, goose. Maybe it's just a midwest thing......our geese are always flying south for the winter.. :o)

duck duck goose here... I'm from Maryland... but with my youth kids we'd also play drip drip drop... you play with a cup of water, and drip on kids till you drop it all on one person... the objective is still the same. Do they not have geese in MN?
