  FINALLY another pokemon fanatic, join the club! =) some of these questions can be answered with pokesav. pokesav is a computer program that lets you hack your pokemon diamond and pearl so you can get any item, pokemon, THE LOT. i will leave a link for you where you can get the download but the others i can answer for you these are below 1 pokesav 2 pokesav 3 pokesav 4 pokesav 5 pokesav 6 pokesav 7 pokesav 8 when you are breeding and you want to get the EXACT pokemon you want you should only breed with the pokemon that you want your offspring to be. but in this case if you want another pokemonm and bercause its a starter and you cannot get another of it without trading or WFC and you have to use another pokemon it gets a bit risky. so i advise you get a chimchar using pokesav 9 its just a matter of luck, but that luck is reduced if you use two different pokemon 10 that i cannot explain. maybe you chose to go there whilst another major event was taking place. i dont really know that for sure though. but if you want you can get a darkrai or cresselia with pokesav 11 about 3 i think only cos they are super rare here are the locations: one is in the team galactic hideout second is underground when you use WFC and the third is somewhere in western sinnoh 12 pokesav hope this helps :-)
