Some help with the principle of conservation of energy......?

yeah i know what it is. "Energy can be converted from one form to another, but it cannot be created nor destroyed." But what I need to know is, how on earth does it apply to the conversion of electrical energy to heat energy?? Serious answers please. This is urgent.

Consider electrical energy being transferred through a wire. A perfect wire would be 100% pure and allow for 100% of energy to be transferred from one end to another. However, in reality, no wire is 100% pure--it has impurities that offer *resistance* to the flow of energy. This resistance stops the eletrical energy and transforms the energy from electric to heat. For a real life example, try taking a strip of aluminium foil and running it from one side of a battery to the other. The foil will become very hot from the resistance in the foil of the electrons transferring from one side to the other. This is electric energy being converted to heat energy through resistance.

The electrical energy that flows into any conductor is called power, and is defined as P=R*I^2, P being power, I being current in amps, and R being the Resistance of the conductor in ohms. This energy flows out of the conductor into the surroundings by radiation, convection, or conduction, and this flow is called heat. the temperature of any body is proportional to the energy stored in the body. Energy flowing into the body causes an increase in temperature. The difference in temperature between the body and its surroundings causes energy to flow out. To create electricity we capture energy usually heat. Then we lose energy bu transporting it, and we pollute which again will cause energy consumption. Why is that inefficient well heat can be created by doing the burning at home. Electricity is good in that the dirt is away from the home eliminating alergy's in the home. Electricity does lotsa other stuff that is more efficient to use electricity, heating is not one of those. Try running your computer on wood.

Everything OK, about conversion, except it should be borne in mind that a small portion gets wasted while transforming from one form to another known as energy loss, which will speak of efficiency of conversion. Electrical energy obtained by conversion of heat, chemical, nuclear energy etc., is converted to heat energy for heating water say through the elements fixed in a heater. Due to molecular movements heat energy is produced and which is absorbed by water to get heated. This can be reconverted to electrical energy by using a small steam turbine at one end and generator on the other end to speak truly of conservaton of energy principle. VR
