D. Now how are you going to give us 10 pts EACH???

D It's not just location. It's height. The higher an object is the farther it can fall. The farther it falls the more energy it takes, thus while it is still, it has potental energy. Kenitic energy is movement.

Oh, goodie! 10 points for helping someone plagiarize their entire homework set and take unfair advantage of everyone else in her class! Woopee!

It has potential energy pecause of its position. But the potential energy might not be because of its height, it might be due to its location on a stretched spring for example. If forces that are referred to as conservative forces, were used to move an object to a location it acquires potential energy.

The potenential energy is given by the position(lokation) i the potential field. The anwer is d. The gravtation field is starts with ca9.8 at the ground, and decreases upwards to pace and decreses downwards to the center of the planet. But for the first thosands of meters both ways it is usual to accept the canstant 9.8 or 10m/s^2
