How do I determine the total momentum of this system?
-
I need to determine the total momentum of the system: A ball "A" is moving towards another ball "B" at 21.6m/s. Ball "A" strikes ball "B", and after this collision ball "A" moves at an angle 59 degrees from its previous vector at the speed of 11.76m/s, and ball "B" moves 18 degrees from its previous vector at the speed of 20.64m/s.. I need to find the momentum of the system using these velocities. this is all that was given in the problem. what is the momentum before and after the collision?
