Where would you be more likely to find a scale of 1 inch equals 1,500 miles: on a map of a city, state, world?

    World! lol, think about it, seriously. The circumference of the earth is 24,901 miles, so a scale of 1,500=1 inch is about right isn't it. How many cities do you know that are 1,500 miles across? If you went from the tip of Scotland to the South of England and back again you would have only covered 1,200 miles.
