There's no easy way, except reading history. If two countries have been at war, they're likely bordering each other. Iraq has invaded Iran and Kuwait. Pakistan has invaded Afghanistan. Israel has invaded all its neighbours: Syria, Lebanon (2006), Jordan and Egypt, (1967), Gaza (2009), and currently occupies West Bank and the Golan heights. Morocco occupies Western Sahara. This might seem like more information, but I think it'll give you the necessary imagery.

Wow that's allot to remember! One way that helped me to remember things in my exams was to put things into a song. To help me remember bones in the body for instance there's the famous bone song. another way to do it in a way that's more effective is to make a story, so you could say that maybe on your holidays you went to Afghanistan, there i visited this place and this other place, then we got the plane to Algeria and saw this river. and then we went to Egypt ... this is a good way to do it, think orbit as a time like maybe. hope this helps in dome way
