  New zealands capital is wellington which is down the bottom of the north island though it doesnt hav the largest population. auckland has roughly 1/4 of new zealands population. the population of new zealand is around 4million. in winter it can get pretty cold it snows in the south island and some of the north (mt ruapehu is a popular skiing destination) summer can also get quite hot Mount Manganui is good for surfing and also for swimming. we get most of our electricity from hydrostations. the longest river is waikato river and the huka falls is a popular attraction it is in taupo where it also has the largest lake in new zealand (lake taupo) Auckland is the only city that i know with major highways. new zealand has alot of farms and that sort of thing is our main export hope this helps ask me anything else
