somewhere in the 1950's, 3 men had traveled to the marianas trench which is the deepest trench in the world located in the pacific ocean!! no one after that has ever attempted to revise the feat!!
As far I know it took place at the Philippine Trench.They reach the bottom at about 11,000 meter below Surface. 2 or 3 man leading by a French Science. (With doubt) Early 1960.
