Answer:
they are absorbed in the intestines by the microvilli (vilus) for plural.......anyways......CHO will have to be broken down into small units like basic sugar units such as glucose, galactose and fructose before absorption into the vilus.......at the brush border exists enzymes that convert maltose .....sucrose and lactose to their basic sugar unit before diffusion into the intestines......how it diffuses into the vilus depends on the Na+ cotransporter......it transports glucose and a Na+ ion across....the energy depends on the inner surface ATPase enzyme which powers it.....this is also known as secondary co transport...... proteins are digested prior to the entrance into the intestines.......the brush borders of the vilus also exists an enzyme that catalyses the conversion of the dipeptides to monopeptides.......and they are absorbed into the intestines vilus in the same way as CHOs.... lipids are a bit more different....they are digested by bile and lipases in the pancreas......the bile produced in the liver and released into the site together with the pancreatic juices facilitates the attack of lipases.......to produce monoglycerides and free fatty acids FFA......at the brush borders....they are actively absorbed in their basic units and inside the vilus they assimilate back to the triglycerides by combining with proteins to form chylomicrons.......they are absorbed by the lacteals not the same site as CHO and protein absorption.....
