Hello. What a bonza question! This is all still opinion today. Here is what I see. Socially-I don't see any advantage, it is pretty much the same as having twins I imagine. Overpopulation.Economically? This I don't get, other than money could be made selling organs that won't be rejected by your own body-BTW why didn't you take better care of that body in the first place? Economically also-there are now 2 of me to go to work? What if the clone dosen't WANT to, either? Or will the government insist both of us must work at all times. Ethically- This is the real issue. To create a duplicate of ourselves, do we really think since we are the Original Copy that the clone is just going to follow our orders or something? Dosen't work that way- it is an exact duplicate -it is also thinking the same way you are. Maybe he thinks you are the one who needs to follow orders, too. Nature set up our biosystem so that 2 opposite sex partners create a third, new being. Suddenly this is not correct? The government is not going to let the idea of a clone go unnoticed, either. 2X the tax from one person. 2x copies of a new soldier. 2x copies of another Hitler-who wants another Einstein anyway today if we can't control what he thinks. 2x the same laborer. yadda yadda, bla bla bla. We aren't mature as a species yet to be duplicating our own foolishness...

Well there's tons of advantages to having clones (unless you are the clone) we could harvest there stem cells and maybe find cures for serious illnesses like Parkinson's and we could have custom built organ donors. However, that's ethically immoral because then scientists would be playing god and using human clone like cattle which would be slaughtered for meat every time some boozer needs a new kidney. So in general it would help but be immoral, which is essentially why the government is restricting it.

well it's difficult to answer the question. i guess we can say that the disadvantages are much more than the advantages. as a matter of fact, in my opinion, there might not be a real advantage for cloning humans. but the worst disadvantage is that the cloned human might become someone whose existence is dangerous to the whole world!!! besides, the process of cloning humans (or any other creature) is very expensive. maybe the only thing that it has , is proving our technology to our self!!!! what a ridiculous job!!!!!!!!
