What is visual reaction time?

What method to use to find the rate of reaction for a temperature vs. time graph?

• So I'm testing to see the rate of reaction of liver enzymes in an H2O2 substrate. they're placed in a test tube and the test tube is placed in separate beakers of water; 1 beaker has a temp of 55 deg. C and the other is 10 deg. I tried putting a rubber stopper on the test tube to see how fast it would pop out, thus measuring how fast the gas moves from the reaction. But I just don't have a method to find the rate of reaction. please help :-( thanks:-)

  a simpler method would be to have small circular discs of whatman paper cut with the help of a paper punch. dip these discs in ur liver enzymes and then dip them in the different test tubes containing H2O2 placed in beakers at different temperatures. perform them one at a time once u dip the disc in the test tube it will sink. slowly as the H2O2 is catalyzed, the disc will rise to the top. start the timer as soon as u dip it and stop the timer as soon as it rises to the surface. the time taken for the disc to rise to the surface is the rate of reaction. now perform this thrice for every temperature and u will get the rate of reaction for each tempeature
