Difference between Neuroscience and Neurobiology?

What's the difference between neuroscience and neurobiology?

  • Answer:

in general, neuroscience tends to be more interdisciplinary than neurobiology. neurobiologists tend to study the brain on a strictly cellular and/or molecular scale, while those who study "neuroscience" study the brain as a whole and may study how it connects with behavior or other things like that. either one would have pretty much the same knowledge about the brain and they would both know a great deal about the molecular the bigger picture, but they may just focus on slightly different things. advantages and disadvantages just depend on what your personal preferences are.
