How does diplomatic immunity work?

How do B Cells work and cause immunity...?

  B cells are apart of the adaptive immunity, which is responsible for 1.memory 2. Specificity 3. Distinguishing Self vs non self 4. Variation Basically your bcells fall under the humoral branch of the adaptive immunity system. Bcells once activated by the (cytokines secreted by the T helper cell) can either differentiate into plasma cells that secrete immunogloblin or memory bcells. The most important thing to know Bcells have immunoglobin (IgG, IgE, IgD, IgA, IgM). Each immunoglobin is responsible for different functions. Once these bcells are activated (immunoglobin encounters antigen) the bcells can do a couple things 1) present the antigen, which is now bound to them. They can present them to Tcells (CTL) which then neutrilize the antigen or they can neutralize the the antigen themselves, by lysis, opsinization etc. Oh immunoglobin can also be soluble or attached to the memebrane. Soluble immunoglobin are secreted by plasma cells, and the memory effector cells have the membrane bound immunoglobin. Once activated bcells will keep proliferating and killing antigen until there is none left Hope this helps I tried not to get to technical. I know immunology can get ugly i just took it. lol
