Do moths sleep during the day?

Why is it, that when I sleep less (like 5-6 hours) I feel more awake during the day than I go when I sleep...?

  • ...for 7-8 hours? I do feel a bit tired when I sleep less but not as tired at 7-8 hours. I only feel tired at like 10pm anyway. Also, if I were to stay up all night I'd feel less tired than I would with a good 8 hours sleep. Is there anything wrong with me? What should I do about it? I know I should still sleep for the 7-8 hours, as that's better for my age but you know. I'm 13 (14 on the 30th March). I do think I need more sleep because I feel ill when I don't get as much sleep though. I also fall asleep really quickly at like 10pm when on little sleep and sleep for a good 8-9 hours if I can and then I start feeling grotty in the afternoon!

  • Answer:

Some people work better with slightly less sleep then the "normal" 8 hours. lt's only an average, and if 5-6 hours suits you better l wouldn't worry about it. That Thatcher woman could get by on 2-3 hours a night. Maybe she should have tried a bit more...might have done a better job. lol
