Evolutionists, how did life start?

Where did life begin?

  • I want to know something, and I'm not trying to start some evolutionist vs. creationist battle here, (as a matter of fact, I myself am a creationist, but that's besides the point) but I want to know where evolutionists believe life began. I think we can all agree here that for the theory of evolution, there had to be some single celled organism in which all creatures evolved from. Now here's the question, where did it come from? What caused that single celled organism come into existence?

  • Answer:

According to Evolutionists (Primordial Soup Theory), the presence of a heavily carbonated atmosphere condensed to form urea and then amino acids, which combined with on another to form proteins. These proteins then combined with the chemicals produced by underwater volcanic vents - and the chemical combination resulted to what we now call "life" - the first chemical compounds united to form one cell - and eventually the cells united with each other for mutual symbiosis - which gave rise to multicellular cells and animals. According to Creationists, God created the earth out of nothing within seven days. God created the first organisms - the bacteria, fungi, protists, and plants, on the third day; the birds on the fifth day; and the animals and humans on the sixth day.

as far as I know string theory is correct, it is - that when two branes colide a universe is formed in a big bang. this is not unique or special so that we are not in the only universe, im not sure how many universes there are, it could be unlimited - i dont remember. but there are 5 more dimensions that we "see" totaling 8 dimensions. but I dont what came before that, but I am outspoken athiest, im sure all religion is based on sun worship

Haldane and Oparin: The Primordial Soup Theory In the natural sciences, abiogenesis, or origin of life, is the study of how life on Earth could have arisen from inanimate matter. It should not be confused with evolution, which is the study of how groups of living things change over time. Amino acids, often called "the building blocks of life", can form via natural chemical reactions unrelated to life, as demonstrated in the Miller-Urey experiment, which involved simulating the conditions of the early Earth. In all living things, these amino acids are organized into proteins, and the construction of these proteins is mediated by nucleic acids. Thus the question of how life on Earth originated is a question of how the first nucleic acids arose. The first living things on Earth are thought to be single cell prokaryotes. The oldest ancient fossil microbe-like objects are dated to be 3.5 Ga (billion years old), just a few hundred million years younger than Earth itself.[1][2] By 2.4 Ga, the ratio of stable isotopes of carbon, iron and sulfur shows the action of living things on inorganic minerals and sediments[3][4] and molecular biomarkers indicate photosynthesis, demonstrating that life on Earth was widespread by this time.[5][6]

I do believe that the origin of the life something relate to chemical because the whole of our body or even a tiny unicellular organism are all chemical. all the biochemical reaction happen in our body in or in a tiny cell perhaps relate to chemistry theory. so i do agree with Primordial Soup Theory. in addition, i also ever read that earlier all the organism in the earth are anaerobic. oxygen by mean for them is a toxic.

I believe that it's probably that simple cells developed from simple RNA-like molecules surrounded in lipids. Unfortunately it can never be truly demonstrated how it happened and it's likely that all we'll have is possibilities of how it _could_ have happened. I hope you realise though that the beginning of life is out of scope of the theory of evolution and it shouldn't be considered a prerequisite for acceptance of the theory's validity. Regardless of our knowledge of the beginning of life, we are well aware of its capability to adapt and produce a variety of novel forms over periods of time.

> Where did life begin? We have no clue, and I mean that seriously and literally. Speculation has ranged from "near undersea volcanic vents" to "seashores" to "shallow ponds." > What caused that single celled organism come into existence? It's descended from a lineage of "chemical natural selection." Google for "RNA world." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RNA_world_hypothesis

According to scientific studies life began as microorganisms, one of the oldest microorganisms is know as -Volvox-... But with humans there is no scientific proof where humans evolved from, some scientists this people slowly evolved from monkeys. 38 years ago archaeologists found a human skeleton in Africa that was estimated 65,000 years old(very old!!) If you go the other way, God created every thing..

Over one billion years ago. Amino acids may have formed from water, soil, nitrogen in the air and oxygen, catalyzed by lightning or other factors. It is by these animo acids that join to make a protein and later on, forming DNA. Organelles in the cell, later was introduced via other bacterium, or other small vesicles. Though, biological cells weren't the first to be created. --------------------------------------… Look at it this way. The first hominids (distinguished from apes) were alive 1 million years ago. Thats a significant difference. 1 billion years and one million years. Homo sapiens emerged only 200,000 years ago. Our species, is Homo sapiens sapiens.

Supposivly microorganisms came from underwater valcano's, this is because the heat and chemicals have a mixture of stuff to produce Amino acids, and stuff.
