What is the difference between forensic chemistry, forensic biology, and forensic science?

What's the difference between animal science and biology?

  • I know biology is the study of all living things and animal science is the study of animals, but is there a distinct difference? I'm going to school to become a vet and I would like to know whether I should major in biology or animal science, or are the classes are the same?

  • Answer:

Biology would be a more in-depth study of living things at the cellular level, whereas, animal science is the study and/or learning of the make-up, behaviors as a whole unit or group of animals. IE., studying horses and what makes them sick and what gets them better doesn't involve knowledge of how a cell splits and multiplies.
