Where is water stored in the body?

What is the process of water when entering the human body?

  • basically i want to know when you drink water, where it dgoes after that, and how it is stored in the body.

  • Answer:

The water from your mouth goes down to the esophagus down to the stomach and then into the small and large interstines. The water is sucked into the cells by osmosis. But majority of water is sucked by the kidneys. The kidneys are made up of millions of nephron. the different regions of the nephrons have different water reabsorbing capacities......some parts are impermeable to water and some are not........the water that is absorbed is used by the body and the water not is excreted.
