Why is it that eyes change colors?

Why do my eyes change colors?

  • Right now my left eye is light blue with specs of dark blue and brownish gold in the middle and my right eye is more greenish with darker specs and brownish in the center. Why do my eyes change colors? Sometimes they randomly change blue or green and sometimes one eye is different then the other. Any reasons why?

  • Answer:

Are you looking at your eyes in the mirror? If that is the case, maybe you are looking under different-coloured lighting each time. The lights keep changing colour---that's my speculation.

Your eye(s) change colour due to the cornea present in them which is responsible for colour in your lens. this probably does not affect your vision

R

maybe it has to do with reflection of the light??
