What is known about A-negative blood type?

  • I've seen one percentage of 85% for how many people have Rh-positive blood. I've heard A-negative is rare. I've read at Red Cross recently that A-negative isn't so rare anymore. Do we know why A-negative is only 15% of the people? Have you ever heard anything else about A-negative?
