A histogram is also called a bar chart. The length of each bar is proportional to the size of the number it represents. The bars can be horizontal (one above the other) or vertical (one beside the other). Each axis (horizontal and vertical) should be labelled, one with the name of the group it represents and the other with the number represented by each unit of length. Does this help?
