What is your opinion of cloning?

I like bacterial cloning. :) It'd be neat if a fetus was diagnosed with a genetic defect, it could be cured by cloning in functional genes via transposable elements that are designed to recognize specific DNA sequences. However, we are many years away from perfecting that technology.

This question is Debatable. Some people might not agree with me. But here's my opinion. Cloning, a very broad term. Technology is getting too way with all this. Cloning is like playing GOD hurting people's sentiments, playing with their emotions. So technology is good, but its should not exceed the limit cuz everything beyond limit is harmful. Raising clones, hmm... i think everything in its natural way is GOOD, but raising clones... geezzz... If u consider the present scenario then its quite obvious that ratio of its being misused is more whatever u might say... Medical treatment is fine and can be modified in other way except relating it with Cloning. Whatever the Goods CLONING might hold, i am totally against it.

A big issue with that is morality, and in my opinoin it isnt immoral to clone. People should be able to do what they want with their own DNA. However when it come down to scientists using other human beings as lab rats thats where the morality line gets crossed. so i dont think it should be illegal, but i think it needs to be restricted from certain people.

I think cloning really isn't what people should be focusing on there really isn't much need for cloning and there are more important matters to worry about cloning just seems like a waste of time and money to me..but that's just my opinion. But if a person wants to spend there money on cloning that's that persons choice

well it could create alot of trust issues... prehaps only if the oringinal was dead would it be a good idea. I hope no evil scientist clones the whole world and kills the smart people so he can be the ruler of the world with no other scientists getting in his way!!!!!!!!! ...... well thats my opinion.

I like this one you get a star Evolutioarly speaking isnt it in our own self intrest to raise as many of our own clones as possiable :D

Obviously not full human cloning just because people would do some weird stuff, but I think therapeutic cloning would be totally cool.

There's already too many of us on this planet. Unless we colonize Mars soon, I can't see justifying cloning because we're running out of space and resources here on Earth.

Time to clone Jesus.
