Why do my eyes change color?

Why do my eyes change color?

  • My eyes seem to have no definate color. They change from blue to green to grey to brown not in that order and any color combination of those four. But they always have a golden-hazel ring around the pupil that never changes. My girlfriend is facinated with my eyes, she always tell me how they look great as any color but i just want to know why they change.

  • Answer:

There are two possibilities. You may have an iris tumor, but that only occurs in one eye. But there is a page(below) that explains that its based on an imbalance in chemicals in the eyes and blood vessel dialation. Although it is somewhat uncommon that peoples eyes change, they're eyes normally only change two colors. Your case seems especially rare.
