Most enzymes are proteins. Not all proteins are enzymes however. Some forms of RNA have been found to have enzymatic activity, however most introductory courses in biology don't cover this. So if this is for a class bear that in mind.

All enzymes are proteins, but not all proteins are enzymes. Proteins may include hormones such as testosterone and estrogen, and enzymes such as amylase. So, there are variety of other types of proteins which have multiple functions in the body. Enzymes are a branch of proteins which speed up chemical reactions by as much (10^6) times in the human body and they may be referred to as biological catalysts.
