How to bring an early period?

Hey girls: Does anyone know how to BRING ON a period..??

  • I know it sounds weird.. but I want to have my period as soon as possible!! I'm going on vacation pretty soon, and I don't want to be bothered with having to think or being afraid of when that day comes and actually have the pain of when it's there for .. practically the whole time I will be on vacation.My period should be coming in a week or so, and that's when I am going on vacation!! I just would like to get it over with by having it a few days earlier so the whole vacation isn't messed up. any help??!!

    i've never heard of using anything to speed up your period. altering your cycle could have bad side effects-including your cycle never being the same again which can cause abnormal bleeding (bleeding when you're not supposed to, heavy bleeding during your period, or your period lasting longer than it should). i know this is the last answer your want to hear-but dealing with your period when it comes is the best solution (just wear tampons). i was on birth control for several years (got pregnant on it twice) then had my tubes tied after my 3rd baby-my cycle was NEVER the same-i bled for 3 weeks at a time and had to be hospitalized twice due to losing too much blood. i had surgery 2 months ago to stop my period alltogether. don't mess with your hormones-it's a pain in the butt once they are irregular. enjoy your vacation!!

NO i don't think you should it could mess up the rest of your life. Your periods will always be irregular!

Are u on any kind of birth control? Keep taking the hormonal pills (the first 3 rows) or keep putting on a new patch and you won't have a period. Other than that, there is no way of bringing a period early.

Well, one sure way is have, exuse me, but, rough, wild sex. But if it's normally too far away it probably might not work. Hot bath can help. And if nothing works, buy birth control and when you go on vacation if you feel it coming on take 2 of the 'hormonal' pills everyday for about 4days. The hormones don't normally exist when you are getting a period, so this will tell your body to stop bleeding. But, I'll warn you, you will get a significantly heavier period if you put one off because of the build-up in the uterus.

you can go to the doc or ob/gyn and ask them to give you this pill that postpones the period. ppl use it for their weddings, vacations, etc. thats the best way just go asap and ask them.

Go to your Doctor and get birth control. It will either stop your period, or depending on how far away your vacation is, you can start the birth control for a while and then stop it, and that will make you have your period.

I don't think it's possible, unless you're on the pill. in that case, you can skip the placebo pills onto the next months pills, which will cause you to skip your period (but causes spotting). But, if you're not on any birth control, then I'm afraid that there's nothing you can do about it. Sorry, hon!
