How often can i use swim paddles?

I have swim practice, I'm on my period and can't use a tampon.Can I still swim?

I have swim practice in 1 hour, can I swim without a tampon?

No you don't want to do that. Your period will continue to flow tampon or not and you will be in for a big gross and unsanitary mess. Enjoy the day off. Have some hot tea and relax! (My favourite is Stash, Chai green tea, with milk and sometime honey in it too). Enjoy. :)

You could try without a pad or tampon but you wouldn't have any protection. if your have a very light flow, like VERY light then it may be okay but otherwise, well can you imagine what would happen? Its very unhygienic and you may get a bad rep if some one sees you bleed in a pool....so yeah, take a day off.

Don't do it. It'd be very messy & uncomfortable. Probably embarassing too. Take the day off.

Water pressure USUALLY stops the bleeding but not always. Might want to play it safe and take a day off though.
