Does white vinegar really help a sunburn?

I went tanning yesterday and got burned really bad. It hurts SOO bad and i have to go out to the fair tomorrow and dont want it to hurt then. I heard white vinegar helps...but i'm not sure. If so, how do i apply it to an all-body burn? Any other good ways to make a sunburn go away?

I've heard it's effective for mild burns but for bad sunburns I'd suggest aloe. You can also try having a bath with oatmeal.

Umm I suggest taking a really FREEZING shower and then ure body will turn NUMB! Omgomgomgomgomg i want my body to go NUMB...hehe just kidding sis :P

Vinegar is good for so many things, it could be , but I'm not sure. A google search will help if you don't get an answer here. I would get some pure aloe vera juice (or gel if thats all you can find) soak cotton wool in same and leave it on your burnt skin for 20 mins.
