How often should you change your tampon?

depending on how heavy you are.... change it every 3-4 hours.

Well, it depends how strong your period is... But if you don't have the experience yet try to change it every 3-4 hours and you'll see if you need to change it more or often.. You'll be fine =)

They say every 4 to 6 hours, but I find that my flow doesn't match the normal flow for the type of tampons I buy. When I start out...I bleed heavier than the Super Plus...but then the next day, it's so light I just need a panty liner. But, on the day I need the Super Plus, I change every 2 hours to help reduce the risk of TSS and the possibility of forgetting to remove it. Also, a word to the wise...try to alternate tampon/pad usage because using tampons exclusively can lead to endometriosis...a very painful gynelogical condition that can affect your future fertility...because the blood can leak back up into the uterus (as told to my sister who suffered from it by her gynecologist)

It should be in no longer than 6 hours.

When I was young, my mother told me to change it every time that I went to the bathroom, I personally find that to be a bit excessive. It is really just a matter of getting used to what's right for you. Every 3 to 4 hours probably.

Once every few weeks

I generally just do it whenever I use the bathroom. If it feels hard or kind of hurts to take out, it is too dry so don't change it yet.

Uhh, change it anytime before wearing it 7-8 hours. If you wear it longer than that, you could get TSS.Always read the manuel book in the box first.

depends how bad and what kind. try around anywhere from 2-4 hours. i do 2 in the first couple days. and 4 or more the rest of the week
