Is anything wrong with having sex while being on your period?

  • I don't mean to sound like a teen asking something dumb,I am wondering if it could be unhealthy at all for the guy and such.

    It is not unhealthy but just quite messy. It really is all about personal choice and comfort level. While it can provide some relief from menstrual cramps, your partner has to be into it and not too squeamish about a bit of blood.

It is not unhealthy by any means. As long as you are engaging in safe and protected sexual intercourse, it is entirely alright for you and your partner to have sex during your period. But, just put it this way, would you dig your nose when its bleeding? =P

It's medically proven to relive cramps, and can even help clean you out. As long as you're both okay with it, and I'd suggest laying down a towel and using a condom, there's nothing wrong with it other than being a little messy.

STDs are much more easily transmitted when a woman has her period. As in all cases, using condoms can significantly reduce this risk.

nothing goes wrong when you do it... but he should really wear a condom cause 1) it's gross and 2) he may get your blood clogged in the end of his pen!s and it could cause an infection. i don't understand why you would wanna do it while you're on your period anyways??? it's just gross and messy.. so yeah, it's definately un healthy.

yes it's a little gross and messy and std's can be transmitted much easier but it's not a problem if you guys are completely monogamous. and benefit for him is that he can *** inside risk free ;)...just make sure you're towards the beginning of your period tho to completely minimize pregnancy risks.
