What can I do to control my nausea?

Birth control symptoms? Nausea?

  • I have three more pills before my very first week of birth control is over. I had some side-effects so far, like extreme hunger, stomach discomfort, and slight mood swings. Today, it's my fourth day to take the pill, and I feel a lot better. So then, is the worst of the birth control side effects over? I noticed my first set of pills were white and the next set of pills are light blue. They must have different amounts of hormones. Will there likely be more side-effects to come? When does the nausea set in? The second week? If I didn't experience nausea the first week, could I still possibly get it in the next three weeks, before the placebo pills? I know every lady's body is different but I read nausea is a common side effect so...

    No one can tell you any of that. Sometimes nausea never happens. However, you can have side effects usually up to the first 3 months on the pill.
