How do I go about volunteering at Planned Parenthood?

If I go to Planned Parenthood and tell them I have insurance, will they make me use it?

• I'm 19 and a college student without a job at the moment. I have an appointment to go to Planned Parenthood. I'm under my moms insurance, but I don't want to use it. I want to get birth control pills, but I don't want my mom to assume that I'm having sex. I'm not and I'm still a virgin. Unfortunately, she'll think that I am or that I'm going to. At this time, sex isn't the reason why I want to start taking birth control pills. There are other reasons to go on the pill, but she won't see it that way. I'm not even allowed to have a boyfriend(even though I'm 19) and she'd freak out if she saw me with a guy. I don't like doing things behind her back, but I can't talk to her about guys or things like this. I'm scared that if I put down my insurance info she will find out even though I don't want to use her insurance. I'm just going to pay using the money that I have saved up, if I have to. Should I still put what insurance I have and tell them that I don't want to use it because of my situation or should I say that I don't have insurance? Will I get in trouble if I say I don't have insurance? Thank you.

  Explain to them your situation ( legally your an adult so you don't need your moms permission) ... But they will not have a problem with you not listing your insurance if you pay for the item fully ... All that matters is that the item is payed for .. Regardless of how or who they recieve the money from
