White discharge from my vagina? normal?

Vagina hole is itchy and having a white discharge inside?

  • For the past two days, around my vagina hole is itchy. I know this sounds disturbing but I checked my vagina and I saw white cottage cheese-like discharge inside. I did have sex but it was a week ago, my partner does not have STD's or any kind and same for me. Thing is the inside of my vagina looks weird because as I stretched the vagina lips I think the hymen lining it looks destroyed and that area is itchy too and white lumps on it. I'm terrified and scared because I never had anything like this. It doesn't have a foul smell or anything just around the vagina hole it's itchy and inside and around the vagina hole is a white discharge. Please help. I'm only 17 years old. Also, any suggestions how to remove this?

    You have a yeast infection. Treat yourself with Monistat -- you can buy it at any drugstore. You should also consider seeing a gyno at least for a check up since you're sexually active, no matter how clean you two are. Most importantly, don't have sex while you have your infection and while you're treating it because you and your partner can cross-contaminate each other over again.

Hi, What you are describing does sound a lot like a yeast infection. It could also be an infection and whichever it is, it must be taken care of by a Doctor. You need meds to clear it up, whether it is a yeast infection or another type of infection. Your partner will have to see his Doctor as well as if he doesn't, he will just pass it back to you after you're cleared up. Take care!

White vaginal discharge is normal. It happens to every girl, but it shouldn't be itchy. If it itches or burns it may be a yeast infection. They have over the counter creams that really helps with itching.
