Stomach ache, what can I do to help get through it? :(?

Sooo... during my period time of the month.. SOO MANY CRAVINGS!! ugh. i hate it. and I craved oreo cookies two days ago, and been eating them since.. but now I have a stomach ache that's just making me feel soo full, like if I ate a full meal. and I'm kind of gassy kuz of all the milk I've been drinking with the cookies.. ugh, i hate this because it happens to me all the time, the cravings. but I've never gotten a stomach ache... I know ginger ale helps, but it's raning outside.. and I don't wanna go out in the rain and end up getting sick again!!!!! >=/ so any other types of foods that can help, or tea's?? it's making me sleepy so I think a tea will put me to sleep.. how can I control all of my cravings during this time of the month?? :[ I end up craving 5 different types of foods... but only get 1 of them. I usually also crave things like chocolate, or meaty things like jack n the crack's tacos!! lol... but now I'm sitting here with a gassy stomach that aches :( I've thrown everything away, like the cookies, and foods I might crave that I know might just make it worse, (more sweets, and junk).. I just wanna stay away from it!! I don't think I'll be craving Oreo's for a while :( help?? -- thanks.

Your body is preparing itself to get rid of a lot of blood is why you are craving meat. You need to increase your intake of iron through foods like spinach or to take a vitamin every day. When you can go to the store make yourself a PMS kit, with pads, chocolate, comfort food, and midol. Right now a hot shower/bath, or a heating pad will help with the pain. Cravings are ways of your brain trying to tell you what you need. Before the supermarket we had to rely on instinct. And ancestors who's brains didn't tell them "hey you remember that red fruit you ate last week... we liked it and want more" didn't get enough vitamin c and didn't breed as well. Your best bet is to break down what food you are craving. Cookies... chocolate which releases endorphins, and sugar to help us produce more blood. Same with the steak... if you take the unhealthy food you WANT and eat the base components you NEED you will solve a lot of that. Also a good way to make your period better... workout... stretch.. I know its the last thing any woman wants to do... but it really does help.
