Why do my nipples change size constantly?

What is a normal size for a womans nipples to be?

  • I always thought mine seemed pretty small, and thought maybe they would change as I got older, but now I am 18 and a half and I think they are done growing. When they are at their full size they are seriously smaller than a cheerio, and my breasts are a 34B. I know it's not a big deal, but I have always wondered if mine were a little on the small side. Also, do nipples get bigger when pregnant, to account for breastfeeding? I have heard that your baby will be able to suckle any size nipple, but I think mine would be pretty difficult. Thanks.

Nipples are like breasts, they come in different sizes. Yours will be different from anyone else's. This is very common. They do change in size as you get older and when you have a baby. Trust me, it does not matter the size, your baby won't want anything else. They are normal, not small.

Usual nipple size would be 38 cal., 45 cal. would not be out of range. For me ,give me my old 44 cal.Support the NRA

What do you mean when you say they're smaller than cheerios? In width, diameter, or height? And, everyone's are different, so don't worry. :)

silly you, your entire body is based on genetics. Ask your mom about your breasts and nipples and what her breasts went thru when she breast fed.

You're 18 and worrying about breastfeeding?! I gotta wonder about that...I did the extended breastfeeding thing with my daughter, and trust me when I say, no matter the size, they stretch. And it's weird. I thought mine were small, too, but obviously it still worked cuz the kid is half my height already and hardly ever gets sick and she's strong as an ox! I always joke around that she'll be a lady wrestler... She's 31/2 and I quit about a year ago.
